punch gym is now selling polar heart rate monitors, it made me want one. they have one at $150 that keeps records over your past 6 or so workouts, that’s the feature I want but I want it for under $100. There’s really no excuse for the prices except that no one is challenging them.

My Polar died and I’m in the market for another – which one are you looking at? Something I need is the ability to use it with the kettlebells which means not on my wrist – any ideas?

Short answer RS300x
I’m working on a longer version of the same.
I’ve always just turned mine around so the face is toward my palm. I have actually attached the watch to the chest belt once and had it on my back but that was really annoying. I’ve also tried just setting it by my feet but it seemed to lose the signal occasionally.
