Oh, Dan had plans for last evening, all lower back and abs.

He was running a bit behind so we got started late but he was able to take 15 minutes or so and teach me some of the things he learned at the AKC certification. Especially things about resting with the bell.

Sumo Deadlift 405 X 6
Situp 50 X 36 Dan pointed out that I was kind of rolling up for at least the first half of these rather than keeping my back flat
Deadlift 405 X 9 I felt somethign tweak in my right hip on the last one of these. It was a similar sensation to having someone try to do a skinfold test on deeper, like they did it with my muscle
Leglift X 15 I didn’t actual count so I estimated
Straight Leg Deadlift X 2 On the first one I said “this kinda hurts.” So Dan said, “if it hurts, don’t do it.” That was as I was beginning my second one. At the top, my right side went all electric and weak. I dropped the weight and dropped to all fours, where I stayed for a while.

My workout was over at that point.
Since then it has been ice then heat.
I’m kind of annoyted because despite my bad food day this week, I was on track to lose weight this week too, now I’m not sure. Weekend workouts are off. I think my back should be decent by Monday. If not, I may be glad I made a physical therapist appointment for Wednesday.
