Monday Morning Weigh in: 241.0

I’m not surprised. I’ve been running 239.X most of the week but  on Saturday I strarted drinking water like it’s going out of style. I assume this is related to the intense soreness in my legs, still. I gotta say that any workout that leads to this kind of discomfort is totally worthless. I’d rather be able to run in the park with my dog than do something that leads to three days of not wanting to move.  I still think I would have been ok if I hadn’t convinved myself to do those cleans on Saturday.

In other news, based on my time capsule plugin, it appears that I started posting the the anvilorhammer domain a year ago now.

    On the other hand, doing a workout like that might lead to the ability to do a workout like that without that kind of soreness – which could be a good thing I suppose. My 100 – 100s workout is like that – terrible DOMS the first few times but then it gets better and better until I’m in awesome condition for the mountains. As usual, it just depends what result you’re looking for at the time.

    Congrats on your one year anniversary – a real accomplishment in this time of one week wonders in the fitness world.

    thanks for the congrats.
    You make a great point on the workouts, preparing for future, similar workouts. I think right now though, I would rather be able to to more workouts with more volume and less weight, as a part of that whole weightloss thing.
