As you can tell, I like the little warm up routine. The whole thing in general is a weird mental relationship. I get up, try to think about what I want to do and can’t come up with anything. Finally I give up and just go outside and do whatever. The little wake up routine comes first and then whatever I add to it. I’m not much of one for routine but this seems to help. I thinks established a bit of a pavlovian response. I wake up, I start swinging a kettbell, The body says “Hey, better get moving.” For this morning thing, that could be important. so I guess I’ll stay with it until my HR stops climbing. Then it’ll be time to change it up a bit.
