Straight to the Bar wants to see your best “Homemade” Gym equipment.
It’s pretty open as to what that means so everyone should have a shot at this. I’ll have to submit my dragging sled/tire (see picture in the left side bar). However, I realize that someone like Chris Rice pretty much has this all locked up, huh Chris Rice, Chris Rice (nudge nudge). Then again all those Farmstrength folks have an in road.
I look forward to seeing what is produced.
P.S. Scott Styles or Chris, one of you want to share the link to that page Scott made a while back of all Chris’s stuff?

Something old or something new
Something borrowed or something blue
Something big or something small
Something short or something tall
Gonna have to think up something new for this instead of just making another of the same old things. Time to dig out the ole thinking cap and see what’s in there.

I looked for a solution to a grip training problem I have thought about in the past. The idea came after a bit of thought – two possible solutions came to mind, one seemed slightly better than the other but harder to build. The drawing is made – I’ll pick up the steel next week and start cutting things to fit. I’ve never made any thing quite like this before so we’ll see how it turns out. I think it will work – time will tell.

Chris, I’m intrigued. Looking forward to seeing what you build.

I think I’m scared. If Chris thinks it’s gonna be tough, it could be amazing. Seeing Chris’s work remind me that I am a slacker.

Well – it’s all cut and fit – I’ll get it welded up sometime soon and slap some paint on it – I’m also typing up a tiny article on what I hope to accomplish with it and a training perspective on what I hope to be able to change in my training with it.
