AOS Providence
I went ahead an bought one of the Art of Strength videos, Providence. I was a little leery when I bought it. I thought, I’m no newbie to these things should I really do the beginner DVD. Well it turns out, I am still a newbie. It was hard darn work. I opted for my 16k kettlebell throughout the duration.
I won’t give away all te details but the basic concept is that you have 15 rounds, each round is 2 minutes of work and one minute of rest. You do a few cleans but at lot more of the traditional strength moves or the Tactical Athelete type drills. Squat, lunges, curls are all easy enough but with 2 minutes on the clock, it tallies up.
I have to say I’m really happy with it. Laura trained along with me, she alternated between the 8K and (now painted) 4k. It’s good for folks (mostly women) who are used to following along with an aerobics type DVD but if your a guy like me and can put your ego aside, it’s good hard work for us too.
