Last Gym Workout Prior To Comp
That’s right boys and girls. I went to Dumbarton and hadmy last gym workout before Strongman. I worked through a Whippo gunning for what I had decided was a goal for me before Strongman.
Jerk 3 reps
40K, 50K, 60K
Hang Clean
60K, 70K
Clean
80K, 90K, 100K
That’s right, I pull 100K. I know it’s not much for you Oly lifters but I was glad to see it go. I pulled it a total of three times just to make sure I had it.
Tried a little juggling with my 16K, just wasn’t ahppening. I think it’s because I did the Oly lifts first. 5X10 per arm on my 24K. I tried to keep my rests shorter than the excercise portions. I didn’t have a watch so I couldn’t back that up.
I may play with KBs and take a walk on Thursday other than that, it’s off till This weekend.

I got a whole mess of stuff in the mail yesterday.
24 K kettlebell. The more I thought about this yesterday the more freaked out I got by it. That’s 52 lbs folks. That’s a heavy kettlebell. I think Dan had some 32Ks laying around his basement. They were honestly too heavy for me to do anything with. I can say the 24K is a lot more practical. I got home an looked at it and realized I could beat it. I took yesterday off as I am a tad sore from Sunday. I got a couple good swings in just for fun. That bugger is heavy. I got me some learning to do but I think it will help my Oly lifts immensly.
I also got in some DVDs from Atomic Athletic. I haven’t had the time to sit and which them and form opinions. I’ll try to remember to put my thoughts out here.
